Often seen in pairs or small groups, these parrots have a slow, deliberate flight and are surprisingly calm around humans, while also being quiet eaters compared to many of our other parrot visitors.
Did you know?:
Pairs often stay together for life and can be seen feeding side-by-side in trees or on verandahs. They’re frequent backyard visitors, especially if you have seed-rich native plants. They love a bit of people-watching from verandah railings and you may even hear them calling before you see spot them watching you!
