Bird Description:

A tiny bird with a big personality, the Golden-headed Cisticola gleams with a burnished gold crown during breeding season. Its cheerful “zitting” call ripples through tall grasslands and wetlands.

Special features:

Weaves intricate nests shaped like little lanterns, stitched from grass and spider silk.

Did you know?:

Despite its delicate size, it’s remarkably bold — singing from exposed perches even in strong wind.
