A soft-toned bird with an incredibly rich whistling song. A bird more often heard than seen, the Little Shrike thrush fills dense vegetation with rich, flowing whistles.
Its warm brown plumage keeps it well camouflaged among leaves and branches.
Listening to its song is one of the quieter pleasures of forest walks.
