Bird Description:

Australia’s largest bird of prey dominates the sky with its sheer presence.
It has broad wings and a long wedge shaped tail that allows it to soar effortlessly on rising air currents for hours.
Watching one spiral upward feels like witnessing pure freedom.

Special features:

Master of soaring thermals they prefer more open areas or lightly forsested woodlands to rainforests and coastal heaths.

Did you know?:

An eagle can lift 50% of its body weight and consumes feral rabbits as well as other live prey and carrion.
