Bird Description:

Tall and statuesque, the White necked Heron patrols freshwater wetlands with slow, deliberate steps.
Its pale neck contrasts against a darker body, giving it a clean and elegant look.
Usually solitary, it seems content in its own quiet company.

Special features:

Develops ornate plumes in breeding season.
