An erect shrub to 3m tall. Is an architectural plant with its long, thin and upright phyllodes (modified leaves). Bright yellow, 6mm globular flower heads are borne in the phyllode axils followed by 10cm long straight to slightly curved pods. Grows in sandy and well-drained soils.
